Some people say when they hear the word Jamaican they think of loud,ruff and aggressive people. We are all obligated to our opinions but rest ah sure Jamaicans are always a couple of things which is fashionable,self-confident,hard-working and over comers. When Jamaicans go out they don’t just go out they dress to impress from head to toe. Yes at times it may me a little much for some or SHOCKING but hey at the end of the day the outfit caught your eye right. At a young age Jamaicans are taught to have pride in their appearance no matter where they are going. When you see them all up in the video light is not to make up noise no its to big up their hard work and what they have achieve in life and giving praise to the man up stairs for life and family. This NBA season has been a crazy and enjoyable one for the ages if you ask me. There were a lot of different storylines. one could not get bored with this season hey even the lady’s started to get more into watching NBA games. One thing is for sure it left us screaming for more, one can only hope the playoffs can live up to the hype as well. Enjoy your front row seat to some high-flying, jaw dropping cross overs and the eye-opening/hand over your face dunks.
The video for John which is the second single off of LiL Wayne’s the Carter 4 has a dark and sinister feel to it that helps lore the audience into the song and video. Glad Weezy didn’t stick to the norm with this video which is just being in the hood doing dirt, instead Weezy used some creativity with the video. The footage from the video seems like they may of took some ideas from the Saw movies or it just may be me that thinks that. The camera angles and locations where good. The footage of Rozay in the wheel chair, Weezy and Rozay on top of the mountain of tires also when Weezy was performing with the mic they all just added more energy and a darker edge to the video. I’m feeling how the video images are focusing more on his words/bars/lyrics. Well what you waiting for check out the video and see if you agree or disagree, enjoy!!!!
If you don’t know who Pusha T is you must be new to the RAP game. He formed a group with his brother Malice called the CLIPS. From the moment they came out they had the industry and the streets buzzing. Now Pusha T is back with a strong record label you may have heard of it “GOOD MUSIC”. Pusha T comes out hard letting the massive know what he’s about. He paints a vivid picture for you to see. A lot of rappers talk about it but when you hear Pusha T you feel ever letter and word that comes out of his mouth. It’s good to see him coming back hard with a bundle of videos and songs that are being played all over the air waves. The beat takes you to church and Pusha T is the pastor, while in da video Pusha T is being driven around just looking at the atmosphere that he created and all you can say is MY GOD!!!
A lot of times you may hear a couple that is expecting a baby say they wish they could see how their baby look when it’s in the mother belly or just see the development stages of their child being born. Now they can with the advance technology of the 3D or 4D sonograms options. This is a Cool and Crazy when my friend first told me that her and her man went and did it I thought no big deal. But when I saw it I was astonished,impressed and in shock how detailed you can see everything and I mean everything. The baby in its early stage looks like an alien no lie LOL. If you’re an expecting parent I would recommend this it will help connect you closer to your baby. There are different types of package deals out there that couples or an individual can pick from. Its worth the money and not that costly, you can get a CD-rom to watch the video over an over you can also get a mixture of black&white and color pictures . So the other night I was at my coworker party in this lounge and then I heard this HARD baseline and this hypnotizing melody come through the speakers that makes you want to hit the dance floor. The song WET by Snoop is a NICE club banger, his flow is superb on the track and the beat draws you in and before you know it your arms and your legs are just moving. In the video Snoop calls up a couple of his royal friends to come hang out with him in Las Vegas, that should be enough to let you know the video is worth watching. Snoop does not look like he is running out of any steam anytime soon. So I was up late one night and bucked up on this video that said its a commercial for Air New Zealand ft Rico the puppet and Snoop Dogg so I was tempted to watch it and boy was I happy I did. The video had me rolling and made me realize that Snoop Dogg is a living Icon/legend for real whether people like it or not. How many rappers out today are getting the request and respect like Snoop does not to mention he was asked to perform for Prince Williams wedding by the Royal family themself. Anyhow enjoy this comical video!!!
You can’t but find yourself enjoying the song and video to Chris Breezy Beautiful People. The video captures Chris Brown doing what he loves which is making music and enjoying his bless life with friends. Love him or hate him one has to respect this man talent and drive. The song is not your usual song its going in the new direction as far as the overseas scene goes with a Techno/Club/House/Pop feel. Love the message that Chris is putting out there. Chris is telling the audience don’t let no one tell you who you are or bring you down have self-confidence and know your beautiful. You can jam to this in the club with your friends also fist pump like your from the Jersey Shore lol. The best part to me is how the video shows different sides of Chris when he’s hanging out in the studio, at the concert, behind the scenes of a set, its him being him. There’s a lot of cameos in this video trust me Chris Breezy is back matter of fact he never left. Its been a little while since a yardie(Jamaican) been on the hip hop scene and it looks like ROZAY realized this with his addition of Magazeen a dancehall reggae artist to his empire Maybach Music Group. Magazeen has a MADD song call Black Panamera which is sure to have the Jamaican and the West Indian massive supporting him and capture the hip hop audience ears. There is no denying this tune will have the dancers dancing, girls wining on the dance floor and the tuggs dem busting ah shot inna di air. Magazeen comes on the scene with his yardie swagga that will have the girls them calling for him and the men respecting him. Magazeen is not a water down Jamaican artist that the main stream industry usually puts out there. He comes with his raw delivery stating what is on his mind. “Real niggas in da street deh pon da front line/straight work no sleep no lunch time/when you see me its fun time/ roll up get high time”. Magazeen has lyrical skills and flow to display on different subject matters. On Black Panamera he shows his versatile flow by switching it up with the speed and tempo of the beat. Lyrically he introduces himself as ladies man and woman pleaser but not to be played with because he will defend his when it’s called for.
